How we handle emergency storm response
Portland's winter windstorms and ice events bring down big conifers fast, often at night. When a tree comes through a roof, every hour of rain adds to the damage. Our emergency crews carry rigging, a bucket truck and tarps, and they can call in the crane when the load is too heavy to cut in place.
We document everything with timestamped photos and a written scope, which most homeowners' insurance carriers require. If a line is involved, we coordinate with PGE and never work near energized conductors until the utility clears it.

When a tree damages a covered structure, most policies cover removal from the structure and often part of the cleanup. We provide the documentation adjusters ask for.
Stay at least 35 feet away and call PGE at the number on your bill, then call us. We work alongside the utility once the line is de-energized.
Our emergency rates are posted and do not change with demand. There is no storm surge pricing.
